The BC Racing ZX Series is a competition coilover suspension developed for track and drifting use. It features monotube dampers with a digressive piston and a twin-piston design, combined with ultra-high viscosity index synthetic oil. The external reservoir provides additional oil volume, allowing for consistent performance during prolonged sessions without a loss of feel due to overheating.
Its main feature is the fully independent 3-way damping adjustment: 30 clicks of rebound, 20 clicks of low-speed compression, and 12 clicks of high-speed compression. This allows for separating the car's behavior during weight transfers (braking, cornering) from its response to sharp road irregularities, such as curbs or bumps. The upright damper design also allows the top mount to be replaced with a different one depending on the desired configuration.
Specific kit for BMW 3 Series E46 Convertible with rear-wheel drive, years 1998 to 2006. Springs with a rate of 5.5 kg/mm front and 8 kg/mm rear, with custom rates available upon request. Suspension is fully rebuildable and comes with a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
