Turbo thermal blanket for T2, T25, and T28 sized turbos. It is placed directly over the turbo's exhaust housing to insulate it from the rest of the engine bay. It fits the most common turbos of this size, such as those installed in the Nissan 200SX, Skyline, Toyota Supra, Subaru Impreza, or Mitsubishi Evo.
With the turbo insulated, the temperature in the engine bay and of the intake air decreases. Furthermore, heat is retained inside the exhaust housing, which helps turbo performance. The carbon fiber version withstands higher temperatures than the conventional fiberglass version.
