CTS Turbo B-Cool oil filter housing for all VW, Audi, Seat, and Skoda MQB and MQL vehicles with the 1.8 or 2.0 TSI EA888 Gen 3 engine. The factory housing is made of plastic, which becomes brittle over heat cycles and eventually cracks. The CTS B-Cool is machined in Canada from 6061 aluminum with a black hard-anodized finish that will not fade, and features fins that act as a heat sink to lower oil temperatures. It reuses the original O-ring, features the same thread as the factory part, and uses the original filter.
To install it, you must remove the center cage from the original cap and snap it into the CTS housing. It is installed using basic tools. It replaces the original part numbers 06K115408, 06L115401B, 06L115401J, 06L115401L, 06L115408D, and 06L115678Q.
