CTS Turbo recirculating diverter valve kit for the 1.4 TSI Twincharger, the VW engine that combines a supercharger and turbo. It is machined from 6061 aluminum with a black anodized finish and uses a piston, so it can be disassembled and maintained. It replaces the original plastic valve, which often fails due to diaphragm rupture, cracks, or electrical faults.
It is compatible with the stock electronics, does not trigger a check engine light, and connects without needing to extend wires. Furthermore, it is slightly shorter than the original, so it fits well in tight engine bays. As it is a recirculating type, it returns air to the intake just like the original. If you are looking for the atmospheric blow-off sound, there is a BOV version for the same engine.
