Description

CTS Turbo atmospheric blow-off valve kit for the Mini Cooper S R56 with the 1.6 turbo N14 engine. It is an atmospheric blow-off valve: upon lifting off the throttle, it vents the air to the atmosphere instead of recirculating it back into the intake, creating the characteristic blow-off sound.

It is machined from 6061 aluminum with a black anodized finish and features a piston-based design, allowing it to be disassembled and serviced. It replaces the original plastic valve, which is prone to failure due to diaphragm tears, cracking, or electrical faults. It is compatible with the stock electronics and does not trigger a check engine light.
