CTS Turbo atmospheric blow-off valve kit for the 2.0 TFSI EA113 and the first-generation 2.0 TSI EA888, such as those in the Golf GTI Mk5 and Mk6, Golf R Mk6, or Audi S3 8P. It is an atmospheric blow-off valve: when you release the accelerator , it vents air to the atmosphere instead of recirculating it into the intake, creating the characteristic "woosh" sound.
It is machined from 6061 aluminum with a black anodized finish and features a piston-based design, making it serviceable and easy to maintain. It replaces the original plastic valve, which is prone to failure due to diaphragm tears, cracking, or electrical issues. It is compatible with the stock electronics, does not trigger a check engine light, and connects without the need for wire extensions. Furthermore, it is slightly shorter than the original, allowing it to fit well in tight engine bays.
