CTS Turbo 4.5-inch downpipe with 200-cell high-flow catalytic converter for BMW B58 engines, RWD and xDrive.
CAD-designed for a direct bolt-on fitment, it is manufactured from T304 stainless steel with hand-TIG welding and back-purging. It sounds sporty under acceleration, discreet while cruising, and is drone-free with the stock exhaust. It is 4.5 inches and reduces to 80mm at the end, allowing it to mate with the stock or aftermarket exhaust. CTS recommends replacing the downpipe gasket: the original BMW part number is 18328612538 (not included).
Compatible with M140i, M240i, 340i, 440i, 540i, and 740i, including xDrive versions. The latest European B58 models are equipped with an Otto Particulate Filter (OPF); if your vehicle has one, please contact us before ordering. A Stage 2 remap is required to prevent a check engine light; CTS recommends Bootmod3. The warranty does not cover catalytic converters damaged by aggressive "crackle" tunes.
