CTS Turbo adjustable camshaft sprocket for the 06A family 1.8T 20V. It allows you to advance or retard the timing by up to 10 degrees in each direction to fine-tune the power curve, with etched marks so you always know which position it is in.
The ring gear is custom-machined to original specs so the belt fits just like the stock part and is hard-anodized to reduce wear. The adjustment plate is secured with stainless steel ARP hardware, which must be torqued to 16 Nm. The center sprocket bolt must be replaced and tightened to factory torque specs, or replaced with an ARP bolt.
Fits Golf, GTI, and Jetta Mk4 1.8T (1999 to 2005), Passat B5 and B5.5 (06A only), New Beetle 1.8T, Audi A4 B5 (06A only) and B6, A6 and A6 Allroad C5, TT 8N, and A3 and S3 8L with 1.8T 20V. Does not fit 1.8T engines with 058 blocks.
Installation by a specialized workshop is required. This is a timing component and an installation error can damage the engine.
