CTS Turbo BOSS600 turbo kit for Audi A4, A5, and A4 Allroad B8 and B8.5 with 2.0 TFSI engine (2009 to 2016). BOSS stands for Bolt-On Speed Solution: a large turbo that mounts in the factory position, without the need for custom fabrication. It features a CTS 54/71 dual ball-bearing core with a machined compressor wheel.
It replaces the factory turbo and utilizes the original oil return and coolant feed lines. The kit includes the turbo with a compressor housing flanged for the integrated blow-off valve, the CTS exhaust manifold for the longitudinal engine, a 3-inch intake pipe with its coupler, a reusable high-flow air filter with a heat shield, oil and coolant lines, and all necessary hardware. It works with the original or an upgraded blow-off valve.
You also need a high-flow downpipe and an upgraded intercooler. CTS recommends reinforced connecting rods and head studs. It only fits first and second-generation EA888 engines: it does not fit European B8 models with Gen3 engines. For this version, upgrading the fuel system is mandatory.
Installation and software. This is a serious modification: installation must be performed by a shop with experience in performance tuning, and the car requires a specific ECU remap for this turbo. CTS turbos carry a 6-month manufacturer's warranty against manufacturing defects.
