Set of four 144mm center-to-center I-beam CTS Turbo connecting rods with a 20mm straight wrist pin, for the 1.8T 20V and 2.0 TFSI EA113 with big turbo or high boost. They are designed for racing pistons with a 20mm wrist pin. The I-beam design handles compression loads very well and offers good torsional rigidity.
Dimensions: 144mm center-to-center, 20mm wrist pin, 50.60mm big end diameter, and 21.90mm width. All CTS connecting rods feature a rifle-drilled oil passage along the beam to better lubricate the wrist pin, are machined in-house, and measured one by one on a coordinate measuring machine (CMM). The set is weight-matched to a tolerance of plus or minus 1 gram and comes with 3/8" ARP 2000 bolts.
Suitable for, among others, Audi A4 B5, B6 and B7, A6 C5 and C6, A3 8L, TT 8N, and TT and TTS 8J (only engines with timing belts), Golf Mk4 1.8T and Golf Mk5 2.0 TFSI.
Installation by a specialized workshop. Replacing connecting rods involves opening the engine; we recommend that it be done by a workshop with experience in tuned engines.
