CTS Turbo BOSS turbo kit for BMW F2x and F3x series with N55 engine and electronic wastegate, i.e., manufactured from July 2013 onwards. BOSS stands for Bolt-On Speed Solution: a large turbo that mounts in the stock location, without the need for custom parts. It is a complete, brand-new ball-bearing turbo with a stainless steel exhaust housing, optimized for a GTX3582R-style core; it is not a stock turbo with a larger compressor wheel.
It retains the stock position and wastegate, so you can reuse your downpipe, intake, and charge pipe without custom parts. According to the manufacturer, with the appropriate supporting modifications, it exceeds 800 hp.
Installation and software. This is a serious modification: installation must be performed by a workshop with experience in tuning, and the car requires a specific remap for this turbo. CTS turbos have a 6-month manufacturer's warranty against manufacturing defects.
