Set of four CTS Turbo I-beam connecting rods with tapered small end for the 1.6 turbo N14 and N18 engines of the Mini Cooper S and John Cooper Works (N14B16, N18B16A, N18B16B, and N18B16C engines). Designed for use with stock pistons in setups with larger turbos or higher boost.
Specifications: 138.55 mm center-to-center, 20 mm wrist pin, 48 mm big end diameter, and 20.87 mm width. All CTS connecting rods feature a rifle-drilled oil passage along the beam to better lubricate the wrist pin, are machined in-house, and are individually measured on a coordinate measuring machine (CMM). The set is weight-matched to a tolerance of +/- 1 gram and includes 3/8" ARP 2000 bolts.
Installation by a specialized workshop. Changing connecting rods requires opening the engine; we recommend that this be done by a workshop experienced in performance engines.
