CTS Turbo oil catch can kit for the first-generation VW Tiguan and Audi Q3 8U with the 2.0 TSI engine.
In direct-injection engines, oil vapors from the crankcase end up sticking to the intake valves and manifold, which reduces power and increases fuel consumption. The catch can traps them before they reach the intake.
The kit includes the 6061 billet aluminum CTS tank with a dipstick, a CNC-machined one-piece aluminum valve cover breather outlet, -10 AN Black series braided hoses, mounting bracket, stainless steel hardware, and clamps. In winter, with sub-zero temperatures, the liquid in the tank can freeze; it is recommended to check it often or remove it during cold months.
