CTS Turbo oil catch can kit for the Golf R Mk6, Audi TTS 8J, and A3 and S3 8P with the 2.0 TFSI engine.
In direct-injection engines, oil vapors from the crankcase end up sticking to the intake valves and manifold, which reduces power and increases fuel consumption. The catch can traps them before they reach the intake.
The kit includes the CNC-machined 6061 aluminum CTS tank with a dipstick, a one-piece CNC-machined valve cover breather plate, -10 AN braided Black series hoses, a bracket, stainless steel hardware, and clamps. In winter, with sub-zero temperatures, the liquid in the tank can freeze; it should be checked frequently or removed during cold months.
