CTS Turbo oil catch can kit for the Golf R Mk7 (2015+, with black engine cover) and Audi S3 8V. Also includes a nozzle for relocating the washer fluid reservoir. Check the engine mount bolt: it must have a stud; if it is flat, you will need the original double stud N91029602.
In direct injection engines, crankcase oil vapors end up sticking to the intake valves and manifold, which reduces power and increases fuel consumption. The catch can traps them before they reach the intake.
The kit includes the CTS 6061 CNC-machined aluminum catch can with a dipstick, a CNC-machined one-piece aluminum valve cover breather outlet, -10 AN Black series braided hoses, mounting bracket, stainless steel hardware, and clamps. In winter, with sub-zero temperatures, the liquid in the tank can freeze; it is advisable to check it often or remove it during cold months.
