CTS Turbo oil catch can kit for the Golf GTI Mk7 and Mk7.5 (2015-2021), the 1.8 TSI Mk7 Golf, Variant and Alltrack, and the Jetta GLI 2.0 (2019-2022). Check the engine mount bolt: it must have a stud; if it is flat, you need the original double stud N91029602. CTS recommends replacing the 06K103484F gasket during installation, and the original PCV gasket must be used.
In direct-injection engines, crankcase oil vapors end up sticking to the intake valves and manifold, which reduces power and increases fuel consumption. The catch can traps them before they reach the intake.
The kit includes the CNC-machined 6061 aluminum CTS tank with a dipstick, a one-piece CNC-machined aluminum valve cover breather outlet, -10 AN black braided hoses, bracket, stainless steel hardware, and clamps. In winter, with sub-zero temperatures, the liquid in the tank can freeze; it should be checked often or removed during cold months.
