The IRP No. 1 Carbon hydraulic handbrake is the version of the No. 1 featuring a carbon fiber lever instead of aluminum. It retains the powder-coated steel base and the 0.625" Wilwood master cylinder, which is included.
It is delivered configured for a pull-up action, and if you prefer to pull it backward, simply flip the lever. It is used to initiate a drift and to correct it with precision. The carbon lever is lightweight, comfortable to grip, and gives the interior a very competition-ready look, especially if you already have other carbon parts installed.
Installation requires integrating it into the rear hydraulic circuit and bleeding it correctly; it does not require subsequent adjustments, but an improper bleed will result in a spongy lever feel.
