The BC Racing EDC Delete kit is designed for vehicles that come from the factory with electronic damping control. When replacing the original dampers with conventional ones or coilovers, the ECU detects the absence of the actuators and triggers warning lights and error codes on the dashboard. This kit solves this by simulating the presence of the stock dampers: the original control unit continues to function normally and the rest of the functions associated with the driving modes remain operational.
The installation is plug-and-play. It connects directly to the existing suspension control system, without the need for coding, reprogramming, or a trip to the dealership. The components are of high quality and feature water protection, designed to withstand permanent exposure to the moisture and dirt that this area of the vehicle is subjected to.
Specific kit for BMW M4 F82 rear-wheel drive, years 2014 to 2020. It should be noted that it only acts on the warnings and codes associated with the stock electronic dampers.
