The BC Racing EDC Delete kit is designed for cars that come from the factory with electronic damping control. When replacing the original shock absorbers with conventional ones or a coilover suspension, the ECU detects that the actuators are no longer present and triggers warning lights and error codes on the dashboard. This kit prevents this by simulating the presence of the stock shock absorbers, allowing the original control unit to continue working normally and keeping the other functions linked to the driving modes operational.
Installation is plug-and-play. It connects directly to the existing suspension control system, with no coding, no reprogramming, and no need to visit the dealership. The components are of high quality and feature protection against water, designed to withstand the constant moisture and dirt in that area of the car.
Compatible with rear-wheel drive BMW M5 F10, years 2012 to 2016, and rear-wheel drive BMW M6 Gran Coupé F06, years 2013 to 2019. Please note that this kit only acts on warnings and codes associated with the stock electronic shock absorbers. If the car has air suspension, canceling it requires additional devices or solutions that this product does not cover.
