NGK PLFER7A8EG spark plug from the Laser Platinum range, the one fitted as original equipment on many VAG group (Audi, Seat, Skoda, and Volkswagen) TSI and TFSI engines, such as the 2.0 TSI in the Golf MK7.
This is a double platinum spark plug: it features laser-welded platinum on both the fine-wire center electrode and the ground electrode. Because both wear at the same rate, the gap remains stable for much longer, providing a smooth idle, good fuel economy, and less risk of misfires in turbocharged engines.
