This gear shifter is designed primarily for competition use. We recommend combining it with rigid engine and gearbox mounts. It offers very short shift throws and incorporates a gear lockout mechanism. It is possible to limit the lever's travel by adjusting the locking system.
The gears that can be locked are: reverse, first and second, or fifth and sixth. These gears can be easily unlocked by pressing the button located on the knob, allowing the lever to move through all positions without restrictions.
The base plate provides full coverage, preventing water or fumes from entering through the shifter mounting hole.
The shifter is specifically designed for BMW gearboxes, but with minor modifications, it can be adapted to other vehicle models. Please contact us if you need more information.
