CTS Turbo 4.5-inch catless downpipe for all generations of BMW B58 engines, both RWD and xDrive. It replaces the stock downpipe to maximize power output.
CAD-designed for a perfect factory-fitment replacement, it is constructed from T304 stainless steel with hand-TIG welding and back-purging. It delivers a sporty sound under acceleration, remains discreet at cruising speeds, and is drone-free with the stock exhaust. It is 4.5 inches in diameter and reduces to 80mm at the outlet, allowing it to connect to either the stock or aftermarket exhaust systems. CTS recommends replacing the downpipe gasket; the original BMW part number is 18328612538 (not included).
Compatible with M140i F20, M240i F22, 340i F30/F31 and G20, 440i F32/F33/F36 and G22/G23/G26, 540i G30/G31, 740i G11/G12, and X3 and X4 M40i models, including xDrive, according to the manufacturer. More recent European B58 models are equipped with a Gasoline Particulate Filter (OPF/GPF); if yours has one, please consult with us before ordering. A Stage 2 tune is required to avoid a check engine light; CTS recommends Bootmod3. A version with a catalytic converter is also available.
Competition use only. This part removes the catalytic converter and is not street legal.
