Vitour Tempesta P1 tire in size 225/40R15. The Tempesta P1 is Vitour's semi-slick for those who drive their own car on the track and drive home afterwards: it is road-legal and has a minimal tread pattern that leaves almost all the rubber in contact with the asphalt.
It has a TW200 wear rating, which places it in the compromise zone between grip and durability, and the reinforced sidewalls provide steering precision and resistance when pushed in corners.
Data for this size according to Vitour: load and speed index 83W, recommended rim 8J, total diameter of 558 mm, maximum load of 487 kg per tire, and maximum pressure of 300 kPa (44 psi). The tread is 5.6 mm deep.
Like all semi-slicks, it needs temperature to provide its best grip; in cold and rainy conditions, it performs worse than a street tire.
