Vitour Tempesta P1 tire in size 225/45R17, a road-legal semi-slick designed for track sessions, track days, and sports driving. The Tempesta P1 has almost no tread pattern, resulting in a very large contact patch and very high dry grip.
The compound, with a TW200 treadwear rating, is designed to work well when hot without losing performance lap after lap, and the reinforced sidewalls keep the tire stable under hard cornering.
Specifications for this size according to Vitour: 94Y XL load and speed index, 7.5J recommended rim width, 634 mm overall diameter, 670 kg maximum load per tire, and 340 kPa (50 psi) maximum pressure. The tread depth is 5.6 mm.
Like any semi-slick, it needs temperature to provide optimal grip; in cold or rainy conditions, it performs worse than a street tire.
