Vitour Tempesta P1 tire in size 255/40R17. With the Tempesta P1, Vitour seeks a middle ground between a competition tire and a street tire: it is a semi-slick that can be used on the road.
It has a TW200 treadwear rating, which places it in the sweet spot between grip and longevity, and the reinforced sidewalls provide precision when turning and resistance when pushed in corners.
Specifications for this size according to Vitour: load and speed index 98W XL, recommended rim width 9J, overall diameter of 636 mm, maximum load of 750 kg per tire, and maximum pressure of 340 kPa (50 psi). The tread has a depth of 5.6 mm.
Like any semi-slick, it needs temperature to provide its best grip; in cold and rainy conditions, it performs worse than a street tire. If you are unsure between sizes or compounds, tell us about your car and how you use it, or consult our guide on which tire compound to choose. Sold individually. See all Vitour tires.
