If you are looking for a shorter and more direct gear shift for your Lexus IS 200 XE10 with a J160 6-speed gearbox, this IRP short shifter reduces the lever throw and provides a very precise mechanical feel.
It is CNC machined from aluminum with stainless steel parts, and it retains the H-pattern and the original gearbox linkage. It incorporates screw-adjustable stops to limit lateral travel, ensuring you don't miss a gear when shifting quickly.
Competition part. It is normal for the transmission to be louder than with the stock shifter. With firm engine and gearbox mounts, or at least ones in good condition, the feel is significantly improved.
