This IRP short shifter is for the Nissan Skyline R33/R34 GTS/GTS-T with a 5-speed gearbox. Its function is to reduce the throw between gears for faster and more precise shifting, which is noticeable on both the track and the road.
The body is CNC-machined and anodized aluminum, with stainless steel hardware. It connects to the original linkage, so the gear pattern remains the stock one. It features adjustable screw stops that prevent selecting the wrong gear, for example, accidentally skipping into the wrong gear when downshifting.
Competition use. It transmits more gearbox noise than the original shifter, and for the best possible feel, it is recommended to have the engine and gearbox mounts in good condition, or replace them with firmer ones.
