With this IRP short shifter for the Toyota MR2 / MR-S ZZW30 5-speed with a 6-speed gearbox, the shift throw is significantly reduced, making gear changes faster and more precise.
It is CNC-machined from aluminum with stainless steel parts and retains the original H-pattern and gearbox linkage. The gear stops are adjustable via screws, which prevents errors such as mis-shifting during rapid downshifts.
For competition use. Being made of solid aluminum, it transmits more transmission noise than the stock shifter. IRP recommends checking the condition of your engine and transmission mounts, or upgrading to stiffer ones, to get the most out of it.
